Olive Mae : Two months

Dear Olive

Happy 2 months. Look at all you did when you were 1 month old.

You went to the doctor on 7/7/15 for your 2 month check up you were 12lbs 13 oz ( 75th percentile) and 22 inches long (20th percentile)

- You took your first nap in your crib, it didn’t last very long

- You still look just like your daddy, but every once in a while you look like Papa Red and according to TiTi I looked just like him when I was a baby so I guess sometimes you look like me

- Mom and Dad celebrated their anniversary and left you alone with TiTi, we pretty much talked and thought about you the entire time. We love you so much

- You went on your first hike up at Silver lake, you slept through the whole thing.

- You went on a mega playdate with all of moms coworkers babies who were born on the same day as you or right around the same time. It was HOT but a lot of fun

- You enjoyed your first bachelorette party, your first rehearsal dinner, and first wedding. Besides the bride you were the prettiest one there. You defiantly stole the show. You got to hang out with your uncle Dalan during the ceremony since Mom and Dad were both in the wedding. You sure love him.

- Another play date with Henry. There was lots of sleeping on your part, and lots of grabbing on his. He is 4.5 months older than you, so he is able to do a lot more but soon enough you will be running and playing together

- Went to your first drive in. We saw Jurassic world and you slept through the whole thing.

- Wore a swimsuit and took a dip in the kiddie pool, you looked so adorable.

- Celebrated Fathers day. You made dad a cute footprint canvas.

- You rolled over for the first time on June 23. You do not do it consistently but you have the skills.

- You still don’t like to take the bottle. You are about 50/50 and when you do take it you will only take about an ounce.

- You go to sleep around 9 or 10 pm and will usually sleep for 4 hours. After that you are up every 2 hours and wanting to nurse. Most of the time you just sleep in bed with us, so I can sleep nurse. I can usually get you to sleep in until 10 am though, and that’s the way momma likes it.

The month was filled with giggles, tons of smiles, and a fair share of blowouts. We love you so much Olive. You brighten everyone’s day. Your smiles are the best. What a great month it was.
