Goodness miss Olive! How can you be three month old already!!! Time is flying and we are loving every second of it! As I type this you are lying on my chest fast asleep! It's your favorite place to be! It's also my favorite place to have you, so it's a win win!
- You had another play date with Rhett and Emily. It's so fun watching you grow together!
-Celebrated your first Fourth of July! That deserves a post of its own though with all of the outfits including twinning cousins!
- Went swimming for the first time! You were a little timid at first but then loved it!
- Went on a family date to the aquarium, you slept 90% of the time! When you were awake you enjoyed the jelly fish the most.
- We trying to master this whole sleeping thing! You prefer to sleep next to mommy, but that's not always an option! You usually go to bed between 930-1030 wake back up an hour later for a little extra milk! Sometimes you will sleep until 330 ( which feels amazing) and they times you are up every hour until I bring you into bed with me. You are still sleeping input room in a pack and play! We try to have you take naps in your crib! Sometimes it works ther times it doesn'! Your naps usually last 30-45 minutes! And you take 3-4 a day!
- you love being "worn"! I would say that my wrap is my number one baby product! So nice to have you close and to be hands free.
-You have become so active! You are figuring out you have hands and that they work! You love to grab toys and try to put them in your mouth! Your favorite toys are Sophie the giraffe and a little green ball
-You love your bath and you love going outside and going for walks
-you have some patches of eczema - we have quite the skin care routine but it is clearing them up nicely.
- You are seriously such a happy baby! You are always smiling!
-July 19th you laughed for the first time it's the best sound ever
-You have become the queen of drool!
- Mama went back to work the Saturday night before you turned 12 weeks old! It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do! I hated leaving you! You and dad did fabulously though! You took a bottle like a champ( which before then the most you would take was 1-2 ounces and it was a fight)! You are so lucky to have such an amazing dad! He loves you so much, and I know then even though I can't always be there you are still in the best hands.
We are starting to settle into a routine with mom working and dad taking over the night duty! It's not easy but eventually we will get the hang of it! You have been spending lots of time with the sellers, and Grandma Titi! They say it takes a village to raise a child, and it really does! There is no way we could do it without them!
What a fabulous month we had. You bring so much joy into our lives! It's hard to imagine what life was like before you were here!
