Dear Olive,
A year ago, you came into the world with your eyes wide open, and observing everyone and everything around you. Well, nothing has changed. You are a natural born mimic. You can copy sounds, words, signs, and actions with ease, and often appear older than you actually are, because you are so verbal and expressive.
You are also very social and outgoing. You never had a true “shy” period, and are the first one to smile, wave, and say “hi” when you meet someone new. Your beautiful red hair and bright blue eyes draw attention wherever you go, and people love to stop and talk to you at the store.
You love Quinn! And she loves you! She loves to introduce people to her baby cousin, Olive, and you two are the best of friends. You are best at making a lot of noise, and some mess together. You smile so big every time you see your Quinnie.
Happy Birthday our dear Olive. In one short year, you have brought so much joy into our lives. We can’t imagine what life was like without you, because you are such an important and happy part of our lives. We are so excited to see what the next year (and the one after that. And after that. And after that…) brings. We cannot wait to celebrate all your amazing milestones over your lifetime. We hope you never lose your wonder and wide-eyed enthusiasm for life.
