One year letter from mom

Dear Olive-

You are one! What a wonderful year! I don't even know how we ever lived without you! 

I love you! You are my first baby ! We have been through so much together. You have always been patient with me as i struggled to learn how to be a mom to you! You always greeted me with a smile back even when i was feeling frustrated! I'm so lucky to be your mom! I didn't know it was possible to love someone so deeply and unconditionally. I ache for you when you are sleeping and not in my arms! 

I love you joy for life! I hope you never lose it ! You light up the room! Everywhere we go people say you are the happiest smiley baby! You love all people, you never had stranger danger, you have always been able to flash a smile at anyone no matter where we are or what time of day! You new favorite thing is to say hi to everyone! 

 

I love how eager you are to learn! You are so observant! We have never been a good sleeper but it's because from day one you were curious! As soon as you were born everyone comment on your big bright eyes taking the world in! 

I love your love for books! Where every we are you seek them out! You mastered turning pages at a young age because you are interested in what's happening next! You could sit for hours by for self and read books. 

I love everything about you! I never want to forget the way your breath smells, or the way you like to stick your fingers in my mouth while you nurse, and flash me a milky smile! I love you rosy cheeks, and soft baby skin! 

Over the course of a year you have gone from a tiny baby to a spunky toddler and I love it!I wish you so many years of happiness!
